When you book a photography session through the Roaming Keepsake, your experience is just as important as the final gallery. Whether you're booking a local maternity session or planning a destination elopement, I'm here to make things seamless and meaningful. Every package includes pre-session guidance, location scouting, and access to a private online gallery for viewing and downloading your images. I'll walk you through every step - from planning outfits to finding the perfect backdrop - so you can feel confident, relaxed, and completely yourself in front of the camera. Pricing varies based on location, session length and travel, but all sessions are designed to preserve your story in the most authentic way.

Inspired by the nighttime melody of the island's beloved COQUI frog, this destination session captures your most heartfelt moments against the lush, colorful backdrop of Puerto Rico. Whether it's an elopement on a quiet secluded beach, a family getaway in Old San Juan, or a soulful solo adventure, your memories will echo long after the sun sets.

Travel Add Ons

Extended Drive Time - $50 per 30 minutes of round trip travel beyond the included 1 hour radius.

Overnight Stay - Client provides 1 night in a hotel or Airbnb for early morning or sunset sessions more than 2 hours away.

Fly-to-You Sessions - Includes round trip airfare + 2 nights lodging + $200 flat travel day fee

Please note custom quotes are also available and I will try to help locate accommodations for a great deal as I have many access points.

1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely this is what we live for! Any session that you book includes travel within an hour of Elkin, North Carolina. For sessions beyond that, travel fees will be added to cover time and expenses so I can show up fully for you photoshoot. There is a "NO TRAVEL FEE" exception for weddings located in NC! If you are in my home state and you book a wedding with me I will waive your travel fee!

2. Do you require a deposit?

Yes all bookings require a 30% deposit, within 24 hours from the initial booking date. The remaining amount can be paid the day of service. Along with the deposit there is also a contract that I require for every client/family. Once the contract is signed and the deposit has been paid your day is secured and booked into my calendar.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Life happens - I totally get it especially as a mom myself. If you need to reschedule I will do my best to accommodate your new date.

Reschedules must be requested at least 72 hours in advance to avoid an additional booking deposit for your new date.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the session will forfeit the non-refundable retainer.

In the case of illness, unsafe weather, or travel disruption, we will always work together to find the best new possible date to fit your needs. I will always prioritize your experience and will always communicate clearly along the way.

Destination sessions and travel based bookings may have additional rescheduling limits due to flights and/or lodging.

Your time is valuable, and so is mine, so I truly appreciate your understanding and communication.

2. Do you Do Video?

While photography is at the heart of what I do, I am beginning to offer a select number of video services for couples and families who want just a little more motion to remember the moment.

Right now, that may look like:

1-2 minute highlight film

Ceremony-only or vow-focused video coverage

Intimate clips woven into your gallery

Please note that these offerings are limited as I refine and expand this side of my storytelling - but full video coverage is on the horizon soon. If you are dreaming of something in motion, let's talk and see if we can find the right fit for your session!

5. Do you have other recommended vendors?

Yes I do! I have amazing vendors that I can recommend for all your needs. If you are in need of a wedding planner, travel agent, florist, makeup artist, and more - who consistently go above and beyond for their clients. I am happy to share a list of trusted professionals who not only deliver incredible work but also bring positive energy and care to every project. You will be in great hands with any of them!

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Of course you can! Your session is all about you, and I want it to reflect your vision, If you have specific poses, moments, or inspiration in mind, feel free to share them beforehand. Although, my work will not reflect as your example because each photographer edits completely different. I will make sure to incorporate your requests while also guiding you naturally throughout the session so everything feels relaxed and true to you.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Absolutely! I would love to connect before your session to get know one another, go over any questions, and make sure that you feel completely comfortable and excited about your session! We can meet in person if your local, or hop on a quick video or phone call - whatever works best for you. Building that connection ahead of time helps create a much more relaxed, fun experience when we shoot!

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

I get it your so excited to see the magic that we just created! And, I cant wait to show you. I will have a sneak peak delivered to you within 48-72 hours average turn around time for anything other than weddings is generally 4-6 weeks. Weddings take much longer to turn around, so we strive for 8-12 weeks. Please note this may also vary depending on the season and the amount of weddings. Please know that I always aim to deliver a beautifully edited gallery as quickly as possible without compromising on the quality. You will receive an email with a link to your online gallery as soon as its ready - and trust me it will be worth the wait!
